Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are directed towards enhancing clients’ mental health and wellbeing
  • Manage, delegate, and prioritize clinical caseloads, ensuring proper coordination and delivery of therapeutic services
  • Participate in a collaborative care model, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to clients
  • Foster positive relationships between clients, team members, funders, and the community
  • Promote and facilitate communication to facilitate the recovery and rehabilitation process, delivering outstanding clinical practices and patient outcomes
  • Engage with the community, including physicians and other relevant stakeholders, to promote Zenula Health’s services and support referrals
  • Provide input into management decisions, service delivery models, and developmental opportunities for team members
  • Set goals aligned with key strategic priorities and ensure that services rendered meet or exceed key performance indicators
  • Ensure that all practices are conducted with integrity and in alignment with best practices and Zenula Health’s policies, including privacy

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
  • Professional liability insurance coverage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a sound knowledge of English and an ability to deliver information effectively to others
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with an ability to work effectively with others, including patients and families
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Commitment to quality care and safety, with an ability to exercise sound professional judgment and use best practice guidelines and
  • evidence-based practice
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple caseloads
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interprofessional team
  • Excellent ability to delegate to supportive personnel
  • Committed to continuous learning and professional development
  • Computer proficiency with experience working with electronic medical records
  • Flexible, willing to learn and able to adapt/prioritize in a constantly changing environment
  • Empathetic and committed to providing an exceptional experience for clients within a challenging and exciting healthcare environment
