What we are looking for:

– Our Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist provides a variety of related therapies depending on
specialty and areas of interest. This could include pre- and post-natal care, incontinence,
pelvic organ collapse, pelvic pain, diastasis rectus abdominus, past abdominal or pelvic
surgery, chronic constipation, sexual pain, birth preparation, etc.
– caseload includes pre and postnatal conditions, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse,
pelvic pain, persistent pain, and anorectal disorders. Our orthopedic caseload includes all
musculoskeletal conditions, as well as strengthening and fall prevention for seniors.
– compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist/Pelvic Health Specialist. You must
have interest in pelvic health and understand your caseload will continue to be a mix to
include general ortho, sports medicine and industrial rehabilitative services.
– The candidate will be warm, nurturing, and client focused with a strong passion for all
things pregnancy and babies and a thorough knowledge of the pelvic floor.
– Create educational perinatal material and give courses to help support women through
pregnancy and postpartum.
– Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical
reasoning. Online and in-person.
– Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress and ensure quality improvement in the
delivery of client care.
– Provide client care in accordance with all professional and organizational standards

while delivering a strong clinical practice with excellent patient outcomes

– Provide clinic input into business decisions, service delivery models and developmental
opportunities for team members
– Set goals that align with key strategic priorities and ensure that services delivered align
with key performance indicators.

identifying clinical metrics to meet and exceed Zenula Health’s vision and values
– Organize resources to solve problems and make tough decisions, while functioning
independently as well as part of a team

Qualifications and Requirements:

    ● Licensed to practice as physical therapist within the Province of Ontario and registered in
    good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. (If you are an
    internationally educated candidate who has an MPT in Women’s health / Gynec you must
    have completed the written component of PCE before applying for this job)
    ● Post graduate training on Pelvic Floor physiotherapy (Level 1 and Level 2 certified by
    Pelvic Health Solutions, or equivalent).
    ● Must have 1-3 years work experience treating perinatal clients in a clinical setting, and
    additional training in perinatal care considered an asset.
    ● Must carry professional liability insurance coverage.
    ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a sound knowledge of English
    and an ability to deliver information effectively to others.
    ● Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with an ability to work effectively with others
    including patients and families.
    ● Demonstrates strong decision making, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    ● Demonstrates commitment to quality care and safety with an ability to exercise sound
    professional judgment and use best practice guidelines and evidence-based practice.
    ● Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage workload effectively.
    ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interprofessional team.
    ● Excellent ability to delegate to supportive personnel.
    ● Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
    ● Computer proficiency with experience working with electronic medical records.
    ● Flexible and able to adapt/prioritize in a constantly changing environment
    ● Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others.
    ● Committed to providing an exceptional experience for clients within a challenging and
    exciting health care environment.
    ● Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs occasionally for client education.
